1. OUR COMMITMENT

Hwang Geum Tae is committed to making hwanggeumtae.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want anyone to be able to read our menu, find our hours, and reach us by phone without difficulty. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a box we checked once.

 

2. WHAT WE ARE WORKING TOWARD

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These are the guidelines most widely used to measure whether a website is accessible. We are not claiming that every page currently meets that standard. We are working toward it, and we fix issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.

 

3. WHAT WE HAVE DONE ·

Our menu is published as real text, not as an image, so screen readers can read every dish and price

· Images that carry meaning have text descriptions

· We use text and background colors chosen for contrast

· The site can be navigated using a keyboard

· The site adjusts to phone, tablet, and desktop screens

· Headings are structured in order so screen readers can move through a page section by section

· Our phone number is a link that dials directly

 

4. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

We want to be straightforward about what is not finished: · Some parts of this site are provided by third-party services, including our online ordering system and embedded maps. We do not control how accessible those services are. · Some older photographs may not yet have complete text descriptions. · We have not completed a formal third-party accessibility audit. If you run into any of these, or anything else, please tell us. See Section 6.

Our restaurant is located at 3498 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005.

· Entrance: The main entrance is step-free from the parking lot behind the building.

· Parking: Accessible parking spaces are available in the lot behind the building.

· Restroom: An accessible restroom is available.

· Seating: Standard-height tables that accommodate wheelchairs are available in the main dining room.
